Description | Cut-off Date for Q &A: July 22, 2022 @ 10:00 AM Local Time Term of Service: Three (3) Years from Time of Award The locations for all work to be performed are: Dundalk Readiness Center 2101 North Point Boulevard, Dundalk, Maryland 21222. Westminster Readiness Center 300 Hahn Road, Westminster, Maryland 21157. The purpose of the Contract is to secure a Contractor to furnish all labor, materials, parts, supervision, equipment, insurance, and permits necessary to provide preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, adjustments, emergency service, and load testing per manufacturers and State regulations for each elevator. A Contractor to provide all labor, materials, and supplies necessary to provide preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs for Elevators as per the specifications stated below. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with Section 13-104 of the State Finance and Procurement Article and the Small Procurement Regulations in Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR) 21.05.07. The basis of the award shall be the lowest responsive bid price from a responsible Bidder. Any shutdown of elevators will require the advanced approval of the Contract Manager and the Readiness Center Manager. Shutdown requests must be in writing and a minimum of two (2) business days in advance. Shutdowns should not last longer then 72 hours. This includes diagnosis, procurement and installation of parts and returning elevator to safe working operations. The Contractor shall inform the MMD if the 72-hour time frame cannot be met in writing to the Contract Manager in an email indicating the estimated time frame for the repair. If the time frame is deemed unacceptable to the Contract Manager, the MMD reserves the right to procure parts or services to return the elevator to proper operating conditions. Shutdown requests are not required in the case of an emergency service call or if the elevator is nonoperable. |
