Description

Upgrade an existing 6" waterline between West 1st Street & NW 3rd street on NW Deer Street. The City of Prineville is requesting bids to upgrade an existing 6" waterline between West 1 st Street and NW 3 rd street on NW Deer Street. This project will tie an 8 inch C-900 PVC line into an existing valve in NW 3 rd and run next to a 6 inch OD&W pipe for 2 blocks. The project will tie back into an existing valve on West 1 st street. This project will reconnect 8 existing services into the new line, 3 each are 2 inch and 5 each are 3/4 inch meters. The project will install a bulb out on the SW corner of 2nd and Deer. That work will require storm drains and 3 catch basins to be installed. All project work shall be complete by the beginning of October to facilitate patching back all disturbed asphalt. Engineers estimated cost for the project is $240,000.
