Storm Water Pipe Installation, Richmond Executive Chesterfield County Airport

This project is to install below ground, in an existing site per county code, a stormwater conduit conveyance from two end points associated with hangars and impervious surface collectors located on Chesterfield County Airport's Pad Sites 3 & 4, crossing under a parking lot to the existing stormwater basin BMP using the approximation of materials as stated below and in accordance with County Environmental Engineering and Planning. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials and equipment to install Storm Drain as follows: 320 Linear Feet of 18” Reinforced Concrete Pipe with Flared End Section as highlighted on Attachment A – Site Plan 28 Linear Feet of 12” PVC 14 Linear Feet of 10” PVC with solid plug stubbed out for building #4 Asphalt replacement on parking lot crossing 2 Parson's PMI3Se manhole insert with valve, gasket and strap or approved equal. Manholes shall be vandal proof and watertight. 1 Drop Inlet Storm Structure Square Footage Considerations The current basin serving the new hangars was designed for 62,800 square feet of impervious (including the buildings and proposed office space). Based on the initial two hangars (22,000 square feet total: two at 10,000 square feet plus 2,000 square feet of office space), the basin can handle up to 40,800 square feet of additional impervious area. Any impervious in excess of this will require detention of additional water on site prior to entering the pipe out to the basin.
