Description | Notice is hereby given to bid on a General Contract, Mechanical Contract or Prime Contract for a waste and domestic supply pipe replacement project at the Southwest Multi-County Correctional Center in Dickinson, North Dakota as described in the Contract Documents as prepared by Prairie Engineering, P.C., Bismarck, North Dakota, Engineer. General work is incidental to plumbing work. This will mostly consist of temporary removal and replacement of ceilings and grid, cutting and patching walls where vertical plumbing risers are replaced, and roof work where vents through the roof are replaced. Plumbing work will consist of replacement of all cast iron waste and vent piping found in the building, scoping and providing an epoxy pipe liner to the underground or inaccessible waste piping, replacement of cold, hot & recirculated hot water supply piping, and replacement of security plumbing fixtures. Electrical work will be incidental to the plumbing work as required. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and to accept or reject any or all Bids. Each Bid must be accompanied by a separate envelope containing a Bidder's Bond in a sum equal to five percent of the full amount of the Bid, executed by the Bidder as Principal and by a Surety Company authorized to do business in this State, conditioned that if the Principal's Bid be accepted and the Contract awarded to the Principal, the Principal, within ten days after notice of award, will execute and effect a Contract in accordance with the terms of the Principal's Bid and a Contractor's Bond as required by law and the regulations and determinations of the governing board. All Bidders must be licensed for the highest amount of their Bids, as provided by Section 43-07-12 of the ND Century Code. No Bid will be read or considered which does not fully comply with the above provisions as to Bond and Licenses, and any deficient Bid submitted will be resealed and returned to the Bidder immediately. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within 30 days after the actual opening of Bids. |
