Cornelia Elementary 2023 Lighting Upgrades

Make proposals on bid forms in Project Manual, submit a certified check or bidder's bond payable to the District in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within thirty (30) days after the date of opening bids without the consent of the Board of Education. Independent School District #273 reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in bidding or advertisement; also to select the bid which bet meets the needs of the District pursuant to M.S. 471.6161, subd.3. Work under this Contract includes: 1. Electrical Systems a. Electrical service, switchgear, distribution panels, conduit and wiring. b. Interior and exterior lighting. c. Ceiling finishes of acoustical lay-in tile, salvaged and reinstalled as needed for electrical work. 2. Keep Architect fully informed about progress of the work, performance of the work and potential problems. 3. The Owner will hold a ground breaking at the start of construction. The Contractor is responsible to supply 20 new hard hats and 20 new shovels for the participants.
