CDBG Riviera Park Parking Improvements

The work consists of: The work at Rivera Park parking improvements will be converting the existing shell parking areas to proposed concrete parking areas as shown on the hardscape layout plan. This project proposes to re-organize/re-shape the existing shell parking spaces due to being pieced together and convert them to (23) concrete spaces which includes (1) handicap space. The existing concrete handicapped parking areas in Riviera Park are not ADA compliant as they do not have the required 5' side aisle and are using the existing walkway for this purpose. The existing concrete handicap spaces will be moved and centralized to the middle so these spaces have closer access to the existing gazebo and picnic pavilion. Two new lineal feet sidewalk connections five foot wide will be added to connect to the existing sidewalks for more direct access to the existing gazebo and picnic pavilion.
