State of Good Repairs (SGR) Bridge Projects

The purpose of this bid is to perform repairs on four (4) separate bridge structures within the City of Charlottesville, listed below. The project’s intent is to remove the current status of structurally deficient for each of the bridges. The project will utilize VDOT State of Good Repair (SGR) funding. The general scope of work includes: concrete deck replacement, concrete deck mill/hydro-mill and overlay, concrete deck patching, steel beam repairs, bearing repairs and/or replacements, cleaning and painting of steel beams and bearing assemblies, concrete superstructure surface repairs, deck joint closures, expansion joint replacement, and erosion and drainage repairs. The overall project bundles together four (4) separate VDOT projects as listed below. It will be the Contractor’s responsibility to ensure compliance with VDOT submission requirements for each project (i.e. - tracking quantities separately for each project, submitting separate pay applications, etc.).
