Description

Continuing Civil Engineering Consultant Services subject to the requirements of the Consultants' Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA) to assist with the design and implementation of municipal engineering projects. Provide specialized training to Town staff in Civil Engineering and Construction Inspection related areas; Building renovations; Coordination with the Town staff, Town Consultants, and Contractors; Coordination with the utilities such as FPL, Comcast, and ATT; Construction observation / inspection; Engineering analysis, cost estimates and reports; Erosion and sediment control design; Grant Management Services for Federal, State, and Local programs; Neighborhood improvements and beautification; Participation in the implementation of the projects; Pavement marking and signage design; Preparation of construction documents; Preparation of project rendering and presentation material; Project Construction Management; Project permitting; Roadway and site design; Shop drawing review; Site grading and storm water runoff modeling and design; Surveying and mapping; Temporary Traffic Control (TTC) formerly Maintenance of Traffic (MOT); Underground utility design such as water mains, storm water, and sanitary sewer system
