Description | Lift Station #3 Forcemain Replacement Project Please contact Adam Pawelk with HTPO at 952-829-0700 or apawelk@htpo.com with any questions. Site Directions: Lift station #3 is located off the north side of Hwy 7 approximately 550 feet west of Minnewashta Parkway. The force main will extend due north through backyard easements at the project terminus of 62nd Street W, near the NWC of Cathcart Park. Est. Completion Date: Dec. 29, 2023 In general the work consists of the following approximate quantities: 1080 lf 8" hdpe sdr 11.0 forcemain (directional bore) 1 each 60" sanitary mh - precast concrete 1 each 60" sanitary mh - polymer concrete or fiberglass. See project manual for additional details. The work to be done under this Contract includes, but is not necessarily limited to, furnishing all labor, materials, transportation, tools, supplies, equipment, etc. necessary for the following items: A. Installation of a directionally drilled HDPE forcemain pipe at Lift Station #3. B. Erosion and sediment control The Engineer when construction staking is needed. Includes a one-time staking of the following anticipated items: o Construction limits within the two 60' radius survey limits. o Line and grade stakes for two sanitary manholes. o Sanitary connection at the south lift station. C. Traffic control D. Site restoration The work under this Contract includes all of the work items as described in these Specifications and/or as shown on the Plans as prepared by HANSEN THORP PELLINEN OLSON, INC. Refer to the City of Chanhassen's Standard Specifications and Detail Plates for additional information. The Contractor shall coordinate site access and staging areas with City and Engineer to minimize disturbance. The Contractor shall confine work to available right-of-way and designated construction limits. In areas of limited construction easements, Contractor shall utilize special procedures and equipment to ensure confinement to available easements while not jeopardizing the safety of individuals or private property. The Contractor shall not enter for material delivery or occupy for any other purpose with persons, tools, equipment, construction materials, or with materials excavated from the trench, any private property outside the designed construction boundaries. If it is necessary or desirable that the Contractor use land outside of City right-of-way or easements, the Contractor shall obtain consent from and shall execute a written agreement with, the owner and tenant of the land. Any restoration necessary on private property outside of the temporary construction easements will be at the expense of the Contractor with no compensation from the City |
