Collection System Lining Improvements

The project generally includes the in-situ lining of approximately 110,000 linear feet of 8" through 12" sanitary sewer; effectively all of the non-PVC sewer mains in the Borough. The project also includes the cured in place lining of approximately 1,000 VF of manholes and cementious rehabilitation of 1,900 VF of block and precast manholes. There are alternates to line all 2,900 VF of manholes. Also included with this work is the elimination of protruding laterals and the testing and grout sealing of the existing laterals in the mains that are to be lined. There is also a contingency to do open cut sewer main repairs and/or manhole frame and cover replacements. The Contract also includes all associated bypass pumping and necessary traffic control required to facilitate this work.
