Sumneytown Pike Bridge Repairs

This project is the placement of scour protection (Grout Bags) under both abutments, repair spalls on the abutments, provide rock protection upstream and under the bridge along the abutments, repoint the masonry abutments and replace missing stones, repair the undermined far right approach embankment, repair far left settled pavement, Crack seal the deck. This project consists of the following a. Install a concrete apron in front of the undermined near and far abutment footings. b. Repair the spalled concrete abutments. c. Provide rock protection upstream and under the brisge along the abutments. d. Repoint the masonry abutments and replace the missing stones. e. Repair the undermined far right approach embankment. f. Repair the rotated right wingwall at the far abutment. g. Sael cracks and level the settled area in the bituminous approach roadway.
