RFQ - Design Services for City of Elko Construction, Maintenance, and Installation of the WRF Plant and Effluent Facilities

The City of Elko is currently soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified consultants for the design services for projects related to the construction, maintenance, and installation of WRF and Effluent facilities for fiscal year 2022/2023 and 2023/2024. The goal of the project is to have a short list of competent and qualified engineers for City Staff to be able to select for any associated infrastructure design projects for the WRF Plant and Effluent Facilities. Professional services for this project will include sewer infrastructure projects, but are not limited to, topographic survey, geotechnical investigation, WRF Plant designs, head works clarifiers, digesters, boilers, Aerotors, STM Basins, lift station designs, filter press and truck load out, pipe line and force main designs, lining and coating system designs, pipeline hydraulic and capacity models, structural design, Operations and Maintenance, Risk and Resilience, Emergency Response, SCADA integration with the Citys specified vendor, specifications and bid documents, and representation at all project meetings. Project development will also include the preparation of a schematic design, materials, labor, and equipment needed to construct the project; all required permitting, identification of utility conflicts, required utility adjustments and installation, coordination with utility companies, and any other items necessary to successfully develop the project. The project designs shall be in conformance with NAC and Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, latest edition, design guidelines as well as any other applicable guidelines.
