Description | This project consists of removal and replacement of existing roof system with new rigid insulation, SBS modified bitumen membrane & sheet metal components as well as installation of interior protection. Those contractors that ordered plans through electronically can submit their bid(s) from their account on the project page. If you did not obtain plans through portal please contact Lynn Imaging, the administrator of www.flylouisville bids.com, at 800-888-0693 or email sup port@lynnimaging.com in order to submit your bid electronically to set up an account.All documents required for the bid submission must be submitted separately. Each sealed Bid shall be accompanied by an irrevocable Bank Letter of Credit, or satisfactory Bid Bond with good corporate surety, in a sum not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate amount of the Bid, payable without condition to the Louisville Regional Airport Authority, to guarantee that if the Bidder's offer results in an Award, the Bidder will furnish all required bonds, insurance certificate(s) and insurance policy(ies) within ten Calendar Days after the date Notice of Award is given, and enter into the Contract within thirty (30) days after Notice of Award is given. The Authority, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat., 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Non-discrimination in Federally Assisted Programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all Bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit Bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin in consideration for an Award. All prospective Bidders are invited and encouraged to attend this conference. The Authority has a No Contact Policy which prohibits communication or contact by Bidders(s) or its representative(s) directed at members of the Authority's Board, its employees, its consultants, or its other representatives concerning the subject of the Bid Documents except as permitted by the Bid Documents. Any questions from the prospective Bidders will be accepted in writing until noon, Friday, August 26, 2022. After this date no questions will be answered.
