Renovation of PAC Fire Curtain Systems

SUNY Purchase College is soliciting bids from qualified theater specialists for upgrading the existing fire safety curtains systems (including equipment assemblies, cabling, rigging, motors, components, testing, training, etc.), in Theatre A (Concert Hall), Theatre B (PepsiCo Theater), and Theatre C (Recital Hall) in the campus’ Performing Arts Center. Associated electrical work to support these upgrades will be handled under a separate contractor, unless otherwise noted in documents. Theatrical Fire Safety Curtains include equipment assemblies, systems and components required to provide a complete fire safety curtain system at the proscenium. Scope: a. Demolition and disposal offsite of fire safety curtain components in each theatre as noted in the drawings for removal. b. Intended reutilization of the components as noted in the drawings. c. Furnish and install new components.

Division 02 -	Existing Conditions, Demolition, Selective Demolition.
Division 08 -	Openings, Coiling Doors and Grilles, Overhead Coiling Fire Curtains.
Division 09 -	Finishes.
Division 11 -	Equipment, Broadcast, Theater, and Stage Equipment, Rigging Systems and Controls, Curtain Systems, Stage Curtains.
