NCHS Performing Art Center Renovations and Improvements

Work closely with the project architect, and District personnel for design support and possible construction of an energy efficient and environmentally friendly performing arts center at North Canyon High School. The following scope of work for this project is subject to change: The District intends to renovate the existing 1,250 seat Performing Arts Center at North Canyon High School. The building renovations will be implemented in two (2) separate phases. Phase 1 - Renovation to the “back of house” classrooms, restrooms, dressing rooms, corridors, and support spaces. Renovations will include replacement of existing carpeting, removal of VCT in corridor and replace in polish concrete, replacement of all fluorescent lights with LED lighting, interior painting, complete renovations of restrooms including dressing rooms, replacement of ceiling tile, and miscellaneous plumbing, electrical upgrades. Total square footage is approximately 19,300 sqft. – Substantial Completion Date : July 21, 2020. Phase 2 - Renovation o f stage, house, lobby, public restrooms, ticket booth, and minor exterior upgrades. Renovations to include new rigging, replace all existing lighting with LED, new auditorium seating, new wall finishes and acoustical treatments, new sound system, replacement of folding acoustical wall panels, complete lobby upgrades including restrooms. Total square footage is approximately 32,800 sqft. – Substantial Completion Date : May 11, 2021.

Division 23 -	Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Instrumentation and Control for HVAC, HVAC Air Distribution.
Division 26 -	Electrical, Lighting.
