The Educational Service Center will receive bids from only qualified contractors licensed to do business in the State of Ohio at the time of bidding and 5-years experience in the work required. A certified check or bank draft in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, payable to the East Central Ohio Educational Service Center shall be submitted with each bid; or a satisfactory bid bond furnished by a solvent surety company authorized to do business in the State of Ohio in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid. The certified check, bank draft or bid bond shall be forfeited to the East Central Ohio Educational Service Center as a measure of liquidated damages should the bidder fail or refuse to execute the contract within ten (10) days following written notification of acceptance. The East Central Ohio Educational Service Center reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding. Completion time is critical to this project and may be a condition of bid selection. Total completion time is NINETY (90) consecutive calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed or date of contract, whichever is soonest.
