Description

The State of Utah - Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM) is requesting submittals for the construction of the following project: LONE PEAK WILDLAND FIRE FACILITY RELOCATION DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH DFCM PROJECT NO: 22001500 This Construction Management/General Contractor (CM/GC) project includes: the relocation of the existing seven-building campus located at the former Draper Utah State Prison site at the Point of the Mountain. The Lone Peak Conservation Center (LPCC) is sole occupant of that existing facility and will be joined by the Wasatch Front Area office of the Division of FFSL as co-occupants of the new facility. The new Lone Peak Wildland Fire Facility will be constructed on the site of the former DJJS Wasatch Youth Center located at 3534 South 700 West, Salt Lake City, Utah. The project, including the main access for the entire parcel, will consume approximately 5-1/2 acres of the 10-acre site. Three new buildings are anticipated that will enclose a total of approximately 37,000 net square feet of space. See Section D.2 of the included programming document for a more detailed breakdown and description of the to be built spaces. The successful CM/GC will be required to review current schematic design drawings and provide an initial construction estimate. Once a base estimate is established, the CM/GC will work with DFCM, DNR and SPE through the design development and construction document phases to keep costs within budget. The FLCC is limited to: $13,800,000 The procurement shall be under the Value Based Selection RFP method. The Contractor for the project must be a Utah licensed General Contractor. Association with other individuals or firms having appropriate professional expertise is acceptable.
