Description

The work covered by the Contract Documents includes the following: Supplying material, labor, equipment, and all supplies necessary to construct all items indicated in the plans and these specification for installation of the following: three (3) new submersible non-clog pumps for Brown Detention Storage Tank, Police Detention Storage Tank, and Grant Detention Storage Tank; clean, perform concrete repair, and remove piping inside storage tank; rehabilitate existing buildings; replacement of electrical and instrumentation equipment; removal of debris and vegetation around existing structures, and other related work. BIDDERS must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Trumbull County, as determined by the Bureau of Wage and Hour, Division of Labor and Worker Safety, Department of Commerce of the State of Ohio. Attention to the BIDDERS is called to the Instructions to Bidders, which are included in the proposed Contract Documents. Proposals shall be completed and properly executed in the proposal bid package supplied in the Specifications. Successful Bidders shall be required to comply with all laws pertaining to minimum wage and discrimination of persons. The City of Niles, Ohio reserves the right to reject any and all Bids or to increase or decrease or omit any item or items and/or award to the lowest and best responsive and responsible BIDDER. Each proposal shall contain the full name and address of every person, firm, or corporation interested in the same, and if a corporation, the name and address of the president and secretary, and shall comply with the ORC, including 735.06 and bid and performance sureties if applicable and also review Niles Codified Ordinances 138.01, if applicable. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids. And reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bidding.
