2020 Home Construction

Estimated project Value: Approx. $500,000. Lincoln County Board of Supervisors will at 10 A.M. on December 13, 2022, open sealed bids from qualified residential building contractors on behalf of four (4) homeowners in Lincoln County, MS. This project is funded by the Mississippi Home Corporation through a HOME Investment Partnership Grant. All bidders are required to submit a "Residential Builders License ", proof of insurance, and a completed Contractor's certification form prior to bidding. The certification form is available from the Grant Administrator (Lynette Smith 601-446-6044 or lwest@swmpdd.com). The bid should include (1) replacement manufactured home, two (2) reconstructions of stick homes, and the rehabilitation of one (1) stick home all located in Lincoln County, Mississippi. All units must be constructed according to Mississippi Home Corporation's HOME regulations and all local building codes. Construction of homes must be completed within 120 working days. Contract will be on a fixed price basis and will be awarded to the lowest and the best bidder. Bidders must comply with Section 3, of the HUD ACT of 1968. ENVELOPE SHOULD BE MARKED: BID FOR HOUSING CONSTRUCTION AND HAVE MISSISSIPPI CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE NUMBER ON THE OUTSIDE OF ENVELOPE.
