Description

Removal of vegetation, trees, soil, muck, and debris from the bottom of the channel section for a length of 2,050-feet. Drainage structures that outfall into the canal are to be protected. The canal width varies along the project length and there is vegetation and tree growth within the spoil bank that lines the canal. Excavated material to be removed on the west bank and hauled to a stockpile location near the north end of the clearing effort. Means and method or the need to dewater is to be determined by the contractor.
