The Wichita VAMC is seeking a general contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, qualified supervision, and other items designated in this contract in accordance with the specifications and drawings to complete Project # 589A7-21-702: EHRM Training and Admin Support Space at the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center. The Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas is renovating approximately 12,000 square feet on the ground level of Building 61 for Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) Training and Support Space. The project scope for this area will include updating the interior wall and floor finishes, replacement of the existing ceilings, and replacement of all existing ceiling-mounted fixtures and equipment. The majority of the existing non-load bearing walls in this area will be demolished to reconfigure the area for administrative testing, training, and classroom activities. In addition to the renovation of space within Building 61, a lot located on the northeast side of the campus will be developed for new temporary trailers, which will provide administrative support services. Oral questions of a technical nature are not acceptable due to the possibility of misunderstanding or misinterpretation. The cut-off date and time for receipt of questions is June 16, 2022, at 1:00 PM ET. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with a size standard of $39.5 million. The solicitation will be issued in late May to early June of 2022. The period of performance is approximately 365 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
