Lake Bridge Chemical Piping Replacement Project

As of June 29, 2022, project was awarded to KAT Construction & Materials, Inc. but awarded amount is not available. Tampa Bay Water is seeking bids on the Lake Bridge Water Treatment Plant which treats water from the Cypress Bridge Wellfield which is distributed to the Pasco County point of connection and/or the Regional line which continues north. The project will replace all the chemical piping (sodium hypochlorite, ammonium hydroxide, and sodium hydroxide) inside of the chemical building along with all the existing chemical pumps and outside below grade piping. Additionally, there will be several new chemical injection points added to existing piping. The project contains some work which Tampa Bay Water will be reimbursed for by Pasco County, special attention should be given to the design documents to differentiate portions for bidding. Please see attached bid documents for details. M/WBE's are encouraged to participate in the bid process. The CONTRACTOR shall perform the WORK to achieve FINAL COMPLETION within 255 days of issuance of NOTICE TO PROCEED The CONTRACTOR shall furnish Performance Bonds and Payment Bonds, each in an amount at least equal to the CONTRACT PRICE
