Description | Request for Proposal - RFP 09232022 Replacement of 5 Unit Vents Mokena Elementary School Announcement RFP 09232022 -Replacement of 5 Unit Vents ESG (herein referred to as "Construction Manager") on behalf of the Board of Education of Mokena School District 159 (herein referred to as "District") is seeking and accepting proposals for replacement of HVAC equipment for five classrooms at Mokena Elementary School. Project Description: Replacement of 5 unit ventilators in 5 classrooms. Project Location: 1) Mokena Elementary School located at 11244 Willowcrest, Mokena, IL, 60448 Owner's Name: The Board of Education of Mokena School District 159. Construction Manager: ESG. Purpose and Objectives The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to obtain proposals from qualified contractors for construction services in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications contained in the Request for Proposal. The District has identified the following objectives: Reduce the risks of having to perform emergency maintenance and/or repairs on failing equipment. Help to prevent loss of school days due to mechanical system failures. Project Timeline The District's expectation during the construction process is to minimize disruption of the educational process. Ideally the goal is to complete this work over the summer of 2023, with a completion August 15, 2023. Responses shall include at a minimum a completed Exhibit B - Proposal Form and any pertinent facts necessary for a proper evaluation of your response. All respondents will be required to successfully complete a contractor pre-qualification process with the construction manager before any subcontracts can be issued. All proposals will become the property of the District. Responding firm will bear all costs associated with preparing their response of this RFP and interviews, if any.
