| Description | This project will rebuild and replace the underground electric system in Underground District 20. Work will include the replacement of deteriorated electrical cables, transformers, and enclosures. Installation of new equipment will bring the electrical system up to current construction standards. Project is included in the City of Palo Alto's FY 2023 - 2027 CIP. As of August 4, 2022, design is anticipated to begin in FY 2027. A timeline for construction has not been determined however project completion is anticipated in the spring of 2029.* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
