Cedarwood Homes is senior housing project developed for Tryco Partners located in the Fairywood Neighborhood of the City of Pittsburgh. The 4.74 Acre parcel which is currently vacant was the location of the former Fairywood School. The project consists of new construction for eleven-quads and one-duplex for a total of 46 apartment units, all single level, wood frame construction. There is one community building. The scope of work includes all site preparation with utilities and parking, and all vertical construction of the apartments and community center. Plans call for the redevelopment of a former Fairywood school to town homes. As of October 25, 2021, the project is in planning. The project recently received tax credit funding. No applications or building permits have been submitted into the City of Pittsburgh. Information regarding the architect and general contractor has not been disclosed.
