Residence Life Interior Suite and Room Painting

1. Painting to include application of one full coat of paint to all walls, ceilings (where there is no ceiling tile) and interior of closets (where applicable). 2. Bedroom, bathroom, and interior of apartment entrance doors to have two coats paint applied to both sides and edges. 3. Contractor to prepare walls for paint and ensure all indents, nicks and groves are filled first. Any mold or mildew must be pre-treated to eliminate existing condition and primed with a mildew inhibitor. All stains must be pretreated and or cleaned to prevent stains from bleeding threw the new paint application this includes kitchen area. 4. Contractor to protect all surfaces that are not to be painted from paint spills, and splatter. Those surfaces, include electrical outlets, electrical switches, electrical outlet plates, light fixtures, floors, appliances, bathroom fixtures, window glass, window hardware and tracks, bathroom and kitchen exhaust vents, cove base, telephone jacks, door hardware, heat vents, thermostats, etc.
