Description | Scope: The scope of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to establish a contract for the purchase, delivery and other inherently related activities of the Products and Services and in compliance with the specifications and terms and conditions set forth in this ITB. All Products and component parts furnished under the Contract shall be new, shall comply with the specifications and terms and conditions set forth in this ITB, and shall operate in full compliance with these Specifications. SCOPE: o Delay clause doesn't include working around revenue train traffic o Vendor to complete one track at a time o CATS to provide all road closures o Remove a total of 14 Tub crossing sections. o Saw cut a total of 240 LF of concrete/asphalt. o Remove/dispose of concrete/asphalt. Approximately 100 TN o Grade 120 TF for new tub crossings o Install 80' of 6" drain pipe o Remove/dispose of spoils from roadbed prep. Approximately 100 TN o Furnish and install a total of 14 new Tub crossing sections o Furnish any stone/sand for roadbed for new Tub crossing o Vendor will be reusing existing rail 115RE. Vendor will have to cut existing rail and reinstall, including rail adjustment and welding. o Complete (8) thermite welds and complete 800 TF of rail adjustment. o Vendor to surface crossing approaches with Mark IV - 800 TF o 100 TN of new asphalt/concrete to install o Pricing includes additional 80 tons of asphalt for an asphalt underlay o Remove/dispose of spoils from asphalt underlay - Approximately 100 TN o A 6" layer should be sufficient for our axle loads and expected roadway traffic at this location. Also includes extending this lay |
