Snyder Building Exterior Repair and Painting

The Project will involve replacement of substandard siding and water damaged wood along with repainting of the building’s exterior. The scope of the Project includes: I.Replacement of substandard siding and water damaged wood: Repair bases of the structural wood/load-bearing columns at porch area of building entryway and install a metal standoff; caulk and seal the wide cracked joints between wooden beams and columns to enhance aesthetics; repair and restore extensively water-damaged/deteriorated wood, columns, frieze boards, diagonal siding, window sills etc. throughout various areas of the building exterior. Add copper drip edge above baseboard where absent. II.Painting, including scraping/pressure wash and surface preparation and caulking: Scrape, remove and clean all cracked/peeling paint from building exterior; prepare and caulk the visible cracks and joints at wood surfaces throughout building exterior and get ready for paint and primer. Provide paint and primer and apply base primer and two coats of paint to all prepared wood siding surface and window trim. Final paint color is Arboretum Gray.
