Newtown and Hermitage Elementary Schools Boiler Replacement

Bid Bond Required Project Location: Newtown Elementary School, 5277 Learning Circle, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23462 Project Location: Hermitage Elementary School, 1701 Pleasure House Rd., Virginia Beach, Virginia 23455 The project provides for: The Scope of Work consists of the complete removal and replacement of existing boilers at both schools. Project includes removal and replacement of existing boilers, associated water piping, controls and electrical system modifications associated with the boiler replacements. During Spring Break, the week of April 10 - 14, 2023, the contractor must clean existing strainers as indicated in the Mechanical design documents. The remainder of the work must be completed as indicated below. Project includes Hazardous Materials Abatement and cleaning of the building interior below or in any area where Hazardous Materials are removed. All Work shall be completed in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications.
