| Description | The City of Thornton owns 110 farms located in Weld and Larimer Counties, near Ault, Colorado. It is Thornton's desire to convert these farms from irrigated farming practices to dry land pasture/grass. The typical farm conversion project may range in size from approximately 40 acres to 320 acres. One farm or several farms may comprise a single project. Contractor shall perform farm revegetation and O&M services for Thornton on an as-needed basis. The types of projects may include, but are not limited to, disking, cover crop planting, grass seeding, grading and earthwork, grass and weed mowing, weed spraying, building inspection, building O&M, electrical, water line installation, recycling services, and fencing. |
