Description

Design & Construction Admin to Convert ODU Inn to Police Station This study is an attempt to conceptualize how the Police Department might use the entire 25,190 square foot, 3-story, former ODU Inn building as a central Department facility. House the entire ODU Police operation in the existing building. Secure public areas from operational spaces. Provide an interim solution to ODU Police space needs until a capital project can be funded. Provide a highly visible presence for ODU Police along Hampton Boulevard. Design to maximize available space on the site to allow a future new facility to be built on the same site keeping the interim solution functional until the new facility is completed.
