Description

Jennings Randolph Lake Project, Garrett County, MD: timber sale is located on the Jennings Randolph Lake Project in Garrett County, Maryland. The timber sale area is approximately 46 acres and is being managed using variable retention silvicultural implementation. For the residual stand both clumped retention along with dispersed retention are being utilized within the timber sale area. Whole tree chipping is prohibited. An Erosion and Sedimentation Plan and Accident Prevention Plan shall be completed and approved by the Corps prior to the start of timber harvesting. In addition, Proof of Active Maryland-Delaware Master Logger certification or equivalent from a neighboring state shall be provided prior to the start of timber harvesting.
