Storage/Staging Area for Portable Gasoline Tanks

Work includes but is not limited to design, fabrication, delivery, installation, construction, and site work. The facility and the installed equipment shall be permanent construction. CLIN 0001 – (Base) Design and build storage/staging area for forklift operations 1. Complete a thorough site investigation to confirm existing site conditions. 2. Design and install a concrete staging area suitable for forklift operations and storage of palletized loads. The approximate dimension of the concrete pad is 45-FT (width) by 50- FT (length). 3. The concrete pad shall have footings to allow for the installation of a carport. The carport shall be positioned to one side of the concrete pad. See enclosed drawing for general concept. Contact manufacturer for specific details about the carport and footings required. 4. The design shall be reviewed and approved by a licensed engineer to be resistant to 110 mph wind speed and to meet applicable building codes. 5. A concrete ramp which provides for a gentle slope, suitable for forklift operations, shall connect the storage area to the existing road. Location of under-slab footings shall be clearly and permanently marked in the field so that the future crew installing the structure on the concrete slab (Option A, CLIN 0003) can correctly locate footings buried by slab. CLIN 0002 – (Base) Install perimeter fence 1. Complete a thorough site investigation to confirm existing site conditions. 2. A chain-linked fence, of similar construction and height (8 FT) to the existing fence on the adjacent structure, shall be installed around the perimeter of the concrete pad. 3. Three (3) gates shall be installed in the chain link fence to allow forklift access to the concrete pad. Each gate shall have an opening of not less than 12 FT. The gates shall accept a standard padlock. See attached sketch for location of the gates. CLIN 0003 – (Option A) Install maintenance free carport on concrete pad 1. Complete a thorough site investigation to confirm existing site conditions. 2. Install a maintenance free carport with the approximate dimensions of 20-FT (width) by 26.5-FT (length) by 10.5-FT (minimum clear height). 3. Two examples of a maintenance free carport
