Sockwell Center Operable Partitions

Removal of existing operable partitions, demolition of adjacent drywall and ceiling work to accommodate installation of new electrically operated partition systems, repair of drywall head furr-down and partition pockets to accommodate installation of new partition systems, electrical and control work required to operate the partition system, and texturing, bedding and painting of drywall repairs and modifications. 1. All existing partitions, track and track supporting elements shall be removed from the project site. 2. All new elements required to structurally support the new electrically operated partition system shall be furnished and installed as required to provide a fully operational system upon completion. Contractor shall be responsible for drilling/punching holes in existing structural support system to properly support the new operable partition track in accordance with partition system manufacturer’s guidelines. 3. Partitions controls shall be operated by keyed switches capable of accommodating removable cores and able to receive Falcon F1/F2 keyway.
