Facilities Maintenance-Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC)

Original Set Aside: 8(a) Set-Aside (FU.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District (MVR), plans to consolidate contract requirements to provide the Rock Island District construction services in various locations to support numerous facilities maintenance requirements of the Rock Island District and in direct support of the 88th Army Reserve-Regional Support Command. The total construction requirement will acquire construction services in the states of Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio and Wisconsin. AR 19.8). A MATOC will be awarded that will have a shared capacity amongst the MATOC pool of $24.9M. A minimum of three (3) with a target of six (6) awards will be made with an ordering period not to exceed five (5) years. The Rock Island Districts’ primary mission, given to us by Congress, is to maintain Civil Works Projects. The District designs, operates and manages construction projects of various facilities across Operations and Maintenance (O&M) locations, Flood Risk Management (FRM), 88th Regional Support Command (RSC), and Veterans Administration programs. Additionally, the District has flood risk management efforts from small, local protection projects (pump stations, levees and interior drainage) at major reservoirs and levee systems throughout the district. Under the above listed programs, the District performs mission requirements including: Construction management; engineering design for mechanical, plumbing, electrical, heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems; historical renovations; masonry; carpentry; building renovation; facility drainage work and repair; utility work; concrete work (sidewalks, curb and gutters, slabs, pads, parking lot paving replacing), concrete and asphalt paving work, and pavement marking; steel post and decorative bollards; horizontal directional drilling; trenching for utilities; chain link or ornamental fencing and gates (option with electrical access); metal fabrications; embankment construction; aggregate, bedding stone, erosion stone, and riprap placing; bituminous fog coating; road ramp repairs; surveying; retaining walls; guardrail work; electrical work and exterior lighting; minor landscaping and site restoration; and seeding. All of this within the geographical boundaries of the Rock Island District and 88th Reserve Command AOR.
