Description

The Consultant shall provide all necessary professional services, including, but not limited to, research, engineering, surveying and design services to prepare complete, bid-ready construction drawings, specifications, bid schedule and engineers estimate for construction, including construct ability review, neighborhood outreach and coordination assistance, for the upgrade and replacement of the existing water pump station at Cope Park. The scope of work generally includes: piping, fittings, equipment and electrical modifications to an existing municipal water pump station and pump building. The work includes flow meters, valves, pump and motor replacement, mechanical piping, temporary water pumping system, electrical, pressure sensors, lighting, variable frequency drives, instrumentation controls for the project and possible modifications to the pump station building; and miscellaneous related work. The site of the work is located at the entrance to Cope Park off of Calhoun Avenue in the downtown area of Juneau, Alaska. 100% Bid ready documents shall be provided by March 15, 2023. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. The City and Borough of Juneau (CBJ) is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to provide design services for the Cope Park Pump Station Upgrades project. Electronic proposals are to be uploaded to Public Purchaseor such later time as the Contract Administrator may announce by addendum to plan holders at any time prior to the submittal date.
