Description

Work covered by the Abatement Base Bid includes the complete removal of approximately 274 SF of carpet flooring glued over VCT flooring with asbestos mastic and approximately 86 LF of wall base via the gross removal method as well as the complete removal of approximately 746 SF of VCT flooring with asbestos mastic and approximately 112 LF of wall base via the heat method at the grade school. At the high school, Work includes the complete removal of approximately 2,000 SF of VCT flooring with asbestos mastic and approximately 183 LF of wall base via the heat method. Work covered by the General Base Bid includes the installation of new owner provided resilient plank flooring and wall base in one space with contractor provided ceramic tile and ceramic wall base in another space over the existing concrete slab-on-grade and wall assemblies at the grade school. At the high school, Work includes the installation of new contractor provided ceramic tile and ceramic wall base over the existing concrete slab-on-grade and wall assemblies.
