Bidders should note that the OWNER s prequalification requirements include mechanical, electrical, and plumbing contractors (i.e., contractors licensed pursuant to Sections 70567059 of the Business and Professions Code, specifically holding A, B, C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C43, or C-46 licenses pursuant to regulations of the Contractors State License Board) that contract directly with a bidder to perform any such component work on the Project (MEP subcontractors). Bidders that intend to contract with any MEP subcontractors to perform any such component work on the Project shall only select MEP subcontractors that have been prequalified by the OWNER at least five (5) business days before the date fixed for the public opening of bids.
