Description | GENERAL INFORMATION Title of Project: Purchase and installation of new roll up door for Building 13 warehouse at the Lyons VA Medical Center, 151 Knollcroft Road Lyons, N.J. 07939 Scope of Work: The contractor shall furnish and install a new roll up door inside the warehouse, separating Bay 2 from Bay 3. Labor and Material necessary to accomplish the services as described in the statement of work (SOW), SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED UNDER THIS SCOPE OF WORK. 1. Vendor will furnish and install a new UL 3 Hour Fire Rated Rollup Door Measuring at 7 8 wide x 8 2 high grey in color in Bldg. 13. Warehouse 2. Vendor will remove the existing tracks and brackets from previous sliding fire door system, Building 13 Warehouse. 3. Vendor will move existing electrical boxes as needed to provide space for door system, Building 13 Warehouse. 4. Vendor will hard wire motor to existing power source nearby as per current electrical codes and standards, Building 13 Warehouse. 5. Vendor will tie in motor to the buildings fire system if needed, Building 13 Warehouse. 6. Vendor will perform a drop test, Building 13 Warehouse. 7. Vendor will cycle door and certify the door to be put into service, Building 13 Warehouse. 8. Vendor will install proper labeling to fire door as required, Building 13 Warehouse. 9. Vendor will fill all masonry holes as needed, Building 13 Warehouse 10. Vendor will provide certification paperwork and turnover to the COR upon completion. Performance Period: The contractor shall complete the work required under this SOW within 45 day of this award unless otherwise directed by the Contracting Officer (CO). Hours of work are to be between 7:00am and 4:30 pm on normal weekdays. Work on Federal Holidays is excluded from this contract. |
