PROJECT OVERVIEW - Move to the 5GHz spectrum using Cambium Massive Multiuser MIMO equipment with integrated interference mitigation. - Leverage the Cambium PMP 450m product to provide high-throughput, near line of sight connectivity, and advanced ability to channel plan the network. - Transition to a Cambium PTP 820C radio capable of dual core to provide more capacity on the network\ backbone and allow for scalability as the needs of the city increases. - Install brand new Rohn tower on Sugar Silo capable of sustaining 4 Cambium PMP 450m Access Points. - Install shielded CAT6 outdoor rated cabling for all Cambium PMP 450m Access Points. - Install shielded CAT6 outdoor rated cabling for all intersection SM’s - Replace all CAT5e patch cables in street cabinets with Panduit certified CAT6 patch cables. - Use only shielded CAT6 cabling at new silo installation, including Panduit certified CAT6 patch cables. - Install and properly ground Ethernet lightning protection units on all outdoor exposed Ethernet cables. (e.g. Silo locations, intersections, cameras, etc.) - Move all other existing antennas and equipment to Sugar Silos and realign intersection AP’s if needed.
