ACPS Roof Replacement at Matthew Maury Elementary School Phase 2 and 3

1. Remove and dispose of lead paint, asbestos containing material and existing roofing systems and components, including membrane, insulation, base sheets, flexible and metal flashings, and associated materials and components down to structural deck unless otherwise noted (Division 02 Section “Selective Structure Demolition”). 2. Repair or replace deteriorated lightweight cementitious deck and form (Division 03 Section “Lightweight Deck Restoration”). 3. Repoint brick masonry veneer where indicated (Division 04 Section “Maintenance of Unit Masonry”). 4. Repair or remove and replace existing deteriorated steel deck (Division 05 Section “Steel Decking”). 5. Provide roof access ladders, augment existing interior ladders (Division 05 Section “Metal Fabrications”). 6. Provide wood blocking at perimeter edges, walls, fascias, and penetrations, and plywood decking where indicated (Division 06 Section “Rough Carpentry”). 7. Provide new multi-layered insulation systems throughout the roof areas (Division 07 Section “Roof and Deck Insulation”). 8. Provide composite panels at fascia (Division 07 Section “Composite Wall Panels). 9. Provide Ethylene-Propylene-Diene-Monomer (EPDM) membrane and flashing at rooftop ductwork (Division 07 Section “Ethylene-Propylene-Diene-Monomer (EPDM) Roofing”). 10. Provide adhered thermoplastic membrane roofing system (Division 07 Section “Thermoplastic Roofing”). 11. Provide perimeter and penetration sheet metal flashings and counterflashings, and miscellaneous sheet metal fabrications (Division 07 Section “Flashing and Sheet Metal”). 12. Provide, roof hatches, RTU and roof curbs, prefabricated safety rail, and pipe and conduit supports (Division 07 Section “Roof Accessories”). 13. Provide sealant and backer materials at exterior vertical masonry joints (Division 07 Section “Joint Sealants”). 14. Prepare, prime, and paint exterior surfaces of wood cornice components (Division 09 Section “Painting”). 15. Provide elastomeric coating on existing roof systems, where indicated (Division 09 Section “Elastomeric Coatings”). 16. Provide roof drain assemblies at existing and augmenting roof drain locations and leader piping and extensions at existing vent pipes (Division 22 Section “Roof Drains”).
