Description | Awarded to Larry Denton Golf Course Construction & Renovation, LLC Bunker Renovation at Lick Creek Golf Course, 2323 Sheridan Road, Pekin, Illinois, 61554 Renovate or removal of all 59 bunkers on the property. There is approximately 80,000 to 90,000 sq. ft. of area to be renovated or removed. We would like to reduce our bunker sq. footage to around 50,000 sq. ft., this will help us keep our maintenance cost in line with our budget. Removal of a bunker - Remove all existing sand, reshape and slope the existing banks and slopes for ease of maintenance by rotary mowers, install drainage as necessary. Prepare the old removed bunkerand surrounding construction area for sod. Must meet approval of owner's representative. All sod and labor to install sod to be provided by owner. Renovation of a bunker- Removal of all old material, reshape, redesign, install proper drainage consisting of 4" perforated tile covered with pea gravel, create a low maintenance flat bottom bunker. Prepare banks and surrounding construction area for sodding. Must meet the approval of the owner's representative. Sod and labor to install sod to be provided by owner. Install approximately 22 tons per bunker of Pro Angle Sand at a depth of 4" over the entire bunker. Sand to be provided by the owner. Total bunkers 59 We are wanting to remove 12 bunkers and renovate 47 Contracts for work under this bid will obligate the contractor and sub-contractors not to discriminate in employment practices and shall be in compliance with applicable State of Illinois Statutes pertaining to the selection of labor and the prevailing rate of wages. The contractor shall pay not less than the prevailing rate of wages as found by the Department of Labor of the State of Illinois or the Pekin Park District to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under this contract, as required by an act of the Illinois General Assembly entitled "An Act Regulating Wages of Laborers, Mechanics, and Other Workmen Employed in any Public Works by the State, County, City of any Public Body, or any Political Subdivision of By Anyone Under Contract for Public Works", approved June 16, 1941, as amended. The Pekin Park District reserves the right to reject bid quotes, waive irregularities in the bidding, and to award the bid in the best interest of the Pekin Park District. No change to the original bid documents and/or the scope of work is approved, unless a written addendum is issued to all bidders by 5:00 p.m., February 8, 2023.
