Hot Mix Asphalt Cold Milling and Resurfacing, Guardrail and Pavement Markings on M-28

This work consists of corrections requested by the Engineer to areas outside the limits of ride quality (such as existing pavement) or to excluded areas that meet the straightedge requirements which will be considered Bump Grinding and will be completed as directed by the Engineer. Ensure all work necessary to address correction areas [as defined in 20SP-501K - Pavement Ride Quality (Mean Roughness Index Acceptance Criteria)] that fall within the limits of ride quality are to be done at no cost to the contract. Ensure all corrections required to bring excluded areas into compliance with the straightedge requirements of subsections 501.03.H or 602.03.I of the Standard Specifications for Construction, are to be done at no cost to the contract. 5.93 mi of hot mix asphalt cold milling and resurfacing, guardrail and pavement markings on M-28 from east of Raco easterly to M-221 in Superior Township, Chippewa County.
