Description

As of August 9, 2022, bids were canceled. No definite date for the rebid. he work consists of rehabilitating the roadway by removing and reconstructing asphalt concrete, sidewalks, access ramps, driveway approaches, curb & gutters, pavement markings, repainting curbs and all appurtenant work as shown on the plans and specifications. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a Public Works project(submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)].No contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for Public Work on a Public Works project (awarded on or after April 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5.This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. Prime Contractor shall be required to be a License "A" General Engineering Contractor at the time of bidding. QUALIFICATIONS TO PERFORM WATER PIPELINE WORK: Prime or Subcontractor performing water pipeline work shall have both an "A" General Engineering Contractor and "C-34" Pipeline Contractor license at the time of bidding. In order to qualify for award of the Contract, it is required that the Contractor or appropriate subcontractor performing the water pipeline work shall have been engaged in the construction of a minimum of five (5) similar potable water pipeline projects within the last five (5) years, containing 6-inch diameter or larger ductile iron pipe, located in the public right-of-way, and constructed for a public agency. The Contractor shall submit the Statement of Water Pipeline Contractor's Qualifications containing a list of the qualifying projects with the bid. Failure to demonstrate the appropriate qualifications will result in the bid being considered non-responsive. The City of Anaheim has pre-qualified water pipeline contractors on its current Master Construction Agreement (MCA) for Water Services that may meet the above qualifications. The Water Services MCA list is provided in the Specifications' Appendix H. The Contractor is advised that not all MCA contractors will have the required licenses required per the Specifications. It is the contractor's responsibility to verify the status of subcontractor licenses prior to submittal of bid.
