Description

This project is to construct bank stabilization measures along Thistle Creek to control erosion. The work involves the following, install boulder retaining wall with Geotextile fabric on the lower boulder, excavate stream deposition from stream channel and place behind boulder wall, harvest willow cuttings and embed willow cutting into gaps of the lower boulders, place borrow (if needed) for roadway fill slope, and broadcast seed on fill slope. The project is located adjacent to US- 89 at milepost (MP) 308.9 per location maps. The work will be per the typical section labeled Boulder Retaining Wall with Willow Cuttings.
