Transportation and Maintenance Bus Facility

The scope of work consists of clearing approximately 16 acres of densely wooded area, removing vegetation, grubbing, stripping and stockpiling soils unsuitable for subgrade compaction, earthwork, grading, preparing, proof-rolling and compacting subgrade to receive new pavements and building floor slab, grading for surface drainage, expanding an existing stormwater management basin, provision of subsurface drainage collection and piping, and provision of various subgrade utilities, including, but not limited to: water distribution, sanitary sewer, power, telecommunications and propane distribution. A fuel storage and pump station for fueling vehicles is also required. Pavement systems include parking areas, sidewalks, curb and gutter and pads for outdoor equipment. Fencing, gates, turf, landscaping, site lighting, signage and other site improvements are required.
