Description | Remove, prep and install two (2) concrete basketball courts. 1. Contractor shall excavate area 100’L x 120’W to 9” depth, level and compact. 2. Contractor shall install two (2) sets basketball posts, backboard, hoop and nets per manufacturers’ specifications. (The County shall provide the post, backboard, hoop and nets) 3. Contractor shall install courts to be oriented to provide 10’ between courts and 5’to the outside of each court. 4. Contractor shall install 4” of crushed concrete base material in excavated area, level and compact. 5. Form perimeter of courts for concrete to finish elevation to existing surrounding ground elevation determined on site by county project manager. 6. Contractor shall install ½” steel rebar placed perpendicular in both directions, tied, 24” on center. 7. Contractor shall pour 5” concrete slab of 3,500 psi concrete for court to finish elevation and finish. 8. The concrete slab shall be sloped 1” for every 10’ for drainage. 9. Saw cut control joints on 10’ centers per direction of county project manager 10. The two (2) courts shall be 50’ x 84’ and be lined with 2” lines to include court boundaries, half court line with jump circle, keys, free throw lines and three point line. All boundaries and lines shall be per NFHS Standards (National Federation of State High School Associations). 11. Courts shall be seal coated following lining. 12. Contractor shall be responsible for any and all permitting (if necessary) to be included for this project. The Contractor may submit permitting cost to the County for payment. Permit fees shall not be included in bid price. 13. All excavated material shall be dumped on site at a location agreed upon by the County Project Manager. The County shall haul and dispose of the excavated materials. | ||||||||
