Flagler Palm Coast High School Parking Lot Improvements

The School Board of Flagler County is seeking a single, responsive and responsible bidder for the improvements of parking lot drainage and complete resurfacing of the front main campus parking lots, improvements of parking lot site lighting and to gain additional parking spaces by reconfiguring the design at Flagler Palm Coast High School located at 5500 State Highway 100 East, Palm Coast, Florida 32164. The bidder shall be responsible for all applicable permitting, labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, services, and incidentals necessary to complete all work required by the specifications and as shown on the drawings. All attendees must be present prior to the beginning of the meeting and must sign in with the District Representative as record of attendance. Late entry to the Pre-Bid Meeting will not be permitted. Full instructions for arrival and check-in are detailed in the bid documents. Flagler County School Board reserves the right to reject any and all offers or waive any irregularity or technicality in offers received. A bid bond equal to 5% of bidder's total amount bid is required to accompany bidder's submittal. Question Submission Deadline: April 12, 2023, 5:00pm Questions will be submitted electronically. Each Bid must be accompanied by (1) a Cashier's or Certified Check of the Bidder, made payable to the Owner, or (2) a Bidder's bond on the Bid Bond Form provided herein in an amount not less than 5% of his Bid. The Bidders bond shall be issued by a surety company licensed to conduct business in Florida, which is on the approved U.S. Treasury List, which obtained an 'A' rating by the latest Best Insurance Guide and which is otherwise acceptable to the Owner. For projects in excess of $200,000, bonds shall be submitted with the executed contract by Bidder receiving award, and written for 100% of the Contract award amount, the cost borne by the awarded Contractor. The Performance and Payment Bonds shall be underwritten by a surety authorized to do business in the State of Florida and otherwise acceptable to Owner; provided, however, the surety shall be rated as "A-" or better as to general policy holders rating and Class V or higher rating as to financial size category and the amount required shall not exceed 5% of the reported policy holders' surplus, all as reported in the most current Best Key Rating Guide, published by A.M. Best Company, Inc. of 75 Fulton Street, New York, New York 10038.
