Boulder Park and Thorndale Park Tennis Courts Reconstruction

To Reconstruct the existing tennis courts located in Boulder Park and Thorndale Park. Currently, Boulder Park is home to 2 tennis courts and a half court, basketball court. PRCS is intending to reinstall the two tennis courts and one half court for basketball at this location. The existing courts appear to have been built out of asphalt. The project consists of removing the existing courts and reconstructing new post tension concrete courts and installing a new chain-link fence around the perimeter and in between the courts, similar to how the courts are set up now. The courts will be reconstructed in approximately the same location, but the footprint will be changed slightly. The tennis courts will be dual striped for tennis and pickleball. The proposed concrete slab will shift to the east by approximately 10’. Parks plans to install a new sidewalk on the west side of the courts to allow an ADA accessible route into the new courts.
