Clarifier Cleaning System PM Service Plan

Five year preventative maintenance service plan for the two (2) clarifier cleaning systems installed at the Lakeview Regional Water Treatment Plant (689 North Lakeview Drive, Lake Dallas, TX 75065). Scope of Work: A. Brushes 1. Replacement of all brushes 2. The position of the brushes in the holders shall be checked for position consistency, ensuring maximum cleaning efficiency 3. Torque of the brush holder bolts (approximate torque 3-5 foot pounds) will be verified 4. Brush arms to be inspected and repaired or replaced. B. Springs 1. Springs shall be inspected for wear and damage 2. Any springs that are damaged, worn, or over stretched shall be replaced 3. Spring tension shall be inspected and adjusted or replaced, if necessary, to ensure maximum cleaning efficiency C. Inspect, repair or replace the following as needed 1. Ramps over effluent discharge outlet 2. Ramps over scum box 3. Skimmer arm supports 4. Attachment assembly 5. All fasteners 6. Stops on collars 7. Lock out hooks and rings D. Additional Requirements 1. Shall include telephone and electronic support for all repairs 2. Inspect all effluent surfaces for signs of intermittent cleaning, and make any necessary adjustments to maximize cleaning efficiency.
